Our Journey Michigan, Montana,Taxidermy, and Bronze Sculpture

Scott grew up in southern Michigan with visions of becoming a mountain man. In 1981 he fullfilled his boyhood dream and moved with his wife Patti to central Montana. After exploring the State for 4 years they settled in the rural community of Libby. Together they opened Frontier Studio, a full service taxidermy shop. Scott's abilities as an artist and outdoorsman have earned him many awards in the field of taxidermy. He has had the pleasure of providing taxidermy for some of the finest sportsmen in the US such as Dick Idol, Jamison Parker, and Roger Selner's World Record Elk Tour. Scott's work has graced the cover of North American Whitetail Magazine and has been featured in Breakthrough, Taxidermy Today, Big Buck and Sporting Classics. Taxidermy eventually led to sculpting taxidermy forms. It was the combination of taxidermy and sculpting that gave Scott the inspiration for bronze sculpture and in 1991 he added that to his repertoire. experience required to work at a taxidermy form company.

In 1997 Scott was hired by a Cabela's owned taxidermy for company to run the sculpting/taxidermy division. The new job required that Scott and Patti relocate to South Dakota. They were there for 2 years. During that time Scott was able to work on several pieces for Cabela's stores located around the country including this wonderful taxidermy project for the Minnesota store. Following their 2 years at Van Dykes Taxidermy Supply the Lennard family returned to Libby and resumed both his private taxidermy business and sculpting full time.
Montana has been an adventure that both have truly enjoyed.
