Montana bronze western wildlife sculptor Scott Lennard & his wife Patti

Scott grew up in Michigan with visions of becoming a mountain man. In 1981 he fulfilled his boyhood dream of living in Big Sky country by moving to Montana with his wife Patti. In 1985 they settled in Libby and opened Frontier Taxidermy. Scott's abilities as a taxidermist and artisan earned him many awards at state, national and world competitions. He soon found himself providing taxidermy services for clients from around the country such as Dick Idol, Jack Nicklaus, Jamison Parker, and Roger Selner's World Record Elk Tour. His work has graced the cover of North American Whitetail

and been featured in other prominent magazines such as Breakthrough, Taxidermy Today, Big Buck, and Sporting Classics.
Scott spent 2 years in South Dakota providing taxidermy and sculpting services for the Cabelas organization, including the Whitetail scene at the entrance of the Owatonna, MN retail store (pictured at right).
In 1991 bronze sculpture caught Scott's attention and his experience in the taxidermy business made him a natural for sculpting accurate wildlife art. Several of his sculptures have attracted serious attention from the art collectors worldwide.
At the 1997 World Taxidermy Championships Scott was awarded

His desire is to focus his attention full time to the field of bronze sculpture.
Travel plans include returning to Africa, Canada, Alaska and new destinations such as Mongolia.
He quotes Helen Keller's philosophy that "life is an adventure or nothing".
