Good Enough Ram

Scott titled this work "The Highlife" due to the high altitudes found in the NW Territories. Scott wanted two sheep in this sculpture and while the smaller ram is nice in its own right it is nothing compared to the mass found on the Good Enough Ram. Set on brown marble this piece is sheer inspiration.

Scott had read about the Dall Sheep nicknamed "Good Enough Ram" in a magazine article. The sight of this montrous ram as captured by photographer Tom Soucek in 1993 caused the wheels to turn in Scott's mind and before long he was recreating it in bronze sculpture. Tom Soucek was kind enough to allow Scott to study his photo in the the recreation of the 3D bronze. The 'Good Enough Ram' lived in the Northwest Territories and to our knowledge has never been filmed again or claimed as taken by a hunter. Reality is that most of us will never have the priviledge of seeing a sheep like this in the wild but we can enjoy it in bronze sculpture thanks to Scott Lennard's vision.  Scott titled this work "The Highlife" due to the high altitudes found in the NW Territories.
