In late 2012 Scott was commissioned by the Veteran's committee in Libby to create a life-sized memorial sculpture for Lincoln County. This sculpture, designed to honor all military personnel, features a WWII solider pulling a modern day soldier to safety. The modern day soldier has his gun trained and ready to defend both their lives as he is being dragged out of harms way by his comrade. One of the most significant aspects of this project is the way in which our service men and women are honored. The bricks at the base of the monument are purchased by individuals. Each brick carries the name, rank, and service date of military veterans. The bricks cost $100 each and can be purchased anytime. The Monument was officially dedicated on Memorial Day 2014.
